Land and Water Resource Management Plan, Milwaukee County, WI - Ms. Plumeau served as the Senior Project Manager in preparation of the goals, objectives, timeframe, and budget of the Land and Water Resource Management Plan for Milwaukee County. In writing and compiling the Plan, Ms. Plumeau worked in coordination with the Milwaukee County Department of Public Works - Environmental Services Division (Land and Water Conservation Department), the Southeast Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SEWRPC), the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), and the Wisconsin Land and Water Conservation Association. The Plan sets forth the County's goals and objectives to reduce nonpoint sources of pollution and to protect its land and water resources.

Lake Michigan Basin, Wisconsin, Wastewater Treatment Monitoring Study - Ms. Plumeau serves as the Project Coordinator for an eight-county study on dairy milkhouse waste for the Great Lakes Nonpoint Abatement Coalition (a non-profit organization made up of thirty county Land and Water Conservation Departments, Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and other government agencies). Five of the sites are in Ozaukee County. The on-going study will determine whether organic filter systems reduce agricultural nonpoint source contaminants. The program is a collaborative research effort involving the Wisconsin DNR, Wisconsin Land Conservation Departments, the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Protection (DATCP), and the University of Wisconsin - Extension. Ms. Plumeau has coordinated the development of the workplan, sampling plan, site selection, and installation of treatment systems for wastewater, installation of monitoring devices, sampling, data tabulation and reporting. She also handles the presentation of findings to agencies, granting partners, dairy farmers and organizations interested in water quality issues regarding the Great Lakes. The results of the study will be used to develop a new Best Management Practice in accordance with the stringent requirements of the Standards Oversight Council (SOC) in Wisconsin. 1999-2002.

Natural Resource Planning and Management - Wetlands Delineation, Permitting, Mitigation and Enhancement Planning, Cook County, IL - Provided pre-development Wetlands Delineation and Mapping of marshes, flatwoods (wet woodlands) and open water ponds. This project involved permitting and mitigation planning and was strongly geared to reduction of impacts by applying stringent avoidance and minimization of impacts in the planning process. The work involved frequent planning meetings with the architects, planners and regulators to develop strategies to preserve the natural resources of the site and to develop and enhance these areas for passive recreational opportunities.

Milwaukee Public Museum, Cedar Lake - Survey for State - Threatened Blanding’s Turtles - Radio-tracked turtles, conducted habitat assessments (hydrology/vegetation); trapped and tagged turtles; and monitored important pregnant female individual.

Wetland Permitting, Cook County, IL - Provided field reconnaissance to determine concurrence with previous delineation; submitted Pre-construction Notification package to Corps of Engineers.

35 Acre Site, Natural Resource Evaluation, Ozaukee County, WI - Conducted a survey on 35 acres in the Town of Cedarburg, Ozaukee County to determine the potential presence of significant natural resources (wetlands, endangered species, etc.) prior to site development. The report was prepared for use by a municipality to decide re-zoning and subdivision matters.
