Ginny Plumeau, Principal
Ecologist and President of Cedarburg Science, LLC, specializes
in the coordination and performance of Wetlands Assessments,
Natural Resource Management studies and Natural
Area Planning. She is a skilled Environmental Consultant
with extensive project management experience. Ms. Plumeau,
a Registered Environmental Manager (REM) and
member of the Wisconsin Green Building Alliance,
has managed projects involving compliance, conservation and erosion
control BMPs, land use and stewardship planning, wetland
assessments, stream water quality monitoring, environmental
impact assessments, natural resource planning and management
studies, and habitat evaluation studies for utilities,
developers, local units of government and federal
government.
Ginny Plumeau is a skilled environmental
consultant with 25 years of technical and leadership experience
in Environmental Land Conservation and Natural Resources
matters. Her
professional certification was earned as a Registered Environmental
Manager (REM) in 1993. She has been involved in a number
of local area initiatives, including the Milwaukee
Green Team and teaching Environmental Business
Issues at the University of Wisconsin. Her
contributions have included coordinating meetings, conducting
literature searches, developing sampling plans, conducting
fieldwork and providing public education programs. She
has field experience in classifying habitats, water quality
monitoring, biotic index studies, wildlife identification,
and wetlands delineation. Prior to forming Cedarburg
Science, she was a national client manager and manager of
environmental services for a major national environmental
services firm. Ms. Plumeau has also conducted and supervised
many Environmental Site Assessments. She
handles issues related to regulatory
compliance, and has prepared reports
for real estate transaction due diligence. She
assists clients with risk management decisions and action
steps needed to achieve regulatory requirements. Her
responsibilities often include coordinating high profile
and portfolio-level environmental assessments nationwide. Her
accomplishments include developing a "project approach" on
multiple-site assignments, and she has extensive program-building
experience.
Ms. Plumeau has been trained
in Wetland studies for many years. She completed Advanced and Basic Wetland
Delineation Training, University of Wisconsin, Waukesha,
2007. She also completed Wetland Delineation training
taught by Don Reed and with the SE Wisconsin Regional Planning
Commission in September 2001 at the UWM Field Station. She
participated in training classes including Wetland
Restoration (May 2001; July 2001) and Sedge
Identification (June 2001) at the UWM Field Station,
as well.
